Charles University is the oldest and largest university in the Czech Republic and one of the leading research-intensive universities in Central Europe. The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University specializes in sport sciences, physical activity, health promotion, and education, combining academic excellence with extensive experience in international research and innovation projects. Within the SHIA project, the Faculty contributes to project management and quality assurance while leading the integration of sport and physical education perspectives into the curriculum, teaching materials, workshops, pilot testing, and evaluation activities, ensuring that innovative health solutions are effectively adapted to sport and physical activity settings.
